Outpatient Group Therapy

Forensic Insight Group offers multiple therapeutic groups designed to create connection, understanding, and support among group members.

Substance Abuse & Dual Diagnosis Therapy Group

In this group, participants will learn about the roots of substance abuse, how to navigate internal and external triggers, and build effective coping skills to process how thoughts and feelings elicit substance seeking behaviors. Often, substance abuse is a symptom of an underlying mental health condition, and in the Dual Diagnosis group this is explored further with the use of evidence based practice and DBT skills. We offer a supportive environment focused on strength based teachings to assist in identifying the root of substance use and how to establish healthier habits and boundaries. Participants will be able to partake in individual and/or group sessions to best ascertain course of treatment.

Sex and Pornography Addiction Therapy Group

In this group, participants will learn about factors that contribute to sex and/or pornography addiction, how to identify and manage triggers, and alternative behaviors and coping skills. There are many reasons why someone may be drawn to sexual behaviors for coping. Participants will be encouraged to recognize and discuss how their behaviors are impacting areas of their life will a goal of changing these behaviors. Participants will receive support, guidance, and understanding from other group members as they share their experiences in the safe and confidential group setting.
